Wi-Fi 7 for Streaming, Video Calls, and WFH

Streaming Netflix in 4K needs 25 Mbps. A Wi-Fi 6 router you already own is fine for that. Wi-Fi 7 helps when you have five or more simultaneous streams, an 8K TV, or a multi-gig fiber plan you want to actually use.

Wi-Fi 7 helps for streaming when:

Five or more simultaneous 4K streams in a household
8K streaming on an 8K-capable TV (very rare in 2026)
Multi-gig fiber plan and you want to actually use the bandwidth
